today i eat two burritos for lunch, and then I finish eating, look down at my plate, and see a little black beetle. Yup, disgusting. Hopefully there aren’t more where that one came from, cuz otherwise they’re probs in my stomach. nasty.
I have a new respect for stores with mannequins that look good. Seriously, until you have to dress one, you don’t realize how hard it is to do a good job of it. Not that they’re hard to dress.. I mean it’s harder than dressing yourself, but possibly easier than dressing a baby…but it’s hard to actually make them look good. Today at work I had to redo 2 mannequins, and it seriously took me at least an hour per mannequin. I can find an outfit that I think will look really good, and then it looks like crap on the mannequin. Yeah. So anyways, you go through like 12 different outfits before you finally get a good one, and that being said of the 2 mannequins I did tonight, one turned out fantastic, and lets just say the other one isn’t my best job, although it should help to sell some of these awesome polka dot shorts that we have on hand. While writing this post, I learned that the word mannequin has two n’s in it. I definitely thought it only had one.
Side note…
Today while driving on a gravel road there was a spider on my shoulder and I definitely almost hit the ditch trying to flick the dang thing off of myself. Anyways, I survived to tell the story.

i need to remember that without Him, I have nothing. I am nothing. But He is the One who enables me to be good, who enables me to love, to serve, to sing. okay, so i really wish that you could get cheap healthy things in small towns. things like pomegranates, goat cheese, avocados, kiwis… but nope.. you gotta drive. the fruit they do have here is sketchy, or at least that was my experience today as i did find some bags of avocados that looked like dried up caterpillars. okay, thats a gross mental image, so i apologize. anyways, i think i would be on a real health kick right now if there was more healthy food in my house. yup.
